Outsourcing of Business Systems
Our firm represents both providers and customers of outsourcing transactions. Recent examples include representing a provider of business systems for some of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, and a company outsourcing its manufacturing of sub-assembly systems. Frequently, these transactions include the actual transfer of discrete departments of the customer to the provider, which, because of the similarities to an acquisition transaction, often involve joint efforts between our Corporate and Securities Group and our Technology Group, and analysis of the implications of the transfer of operations on the customer’s commercial agreements.
