Yochi Kadir-Paz is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Yochi has a vast 23-year-experience in complex commercial litigation in various practice areas, including complex contractual disputes, corporate disputes (shareholder disputes and proxy fights in public companies, class and derivative actions), real estate and hotel industry-related disputes as well as inheritance disputes.

Yochi appears in courts, representing her clients before Israeli courts of all instances as well as in arbitration proceedings.

Moreover, given her extensive experience, Yochi serves as a mediator in various commercial disputes.

Over the years of her professional career, Yochi represented clients in significant disputes widely covered by the economic press, including petitions to the High Court of Justice and administrative petitions involving questions of religion and state (operating businesses in Tel Aviv and public transportation in Ramat Gan on Saturdays).

Furthermore, Yochi serves as a co-chair of the Evidence and Procedure Committee of the Israel Bar Association.

In 2007, Yochi appeared on The Marker magazine’s “40 Most Promising Young Adults” list.

• Representation of a large investor in startup companies in a lawsuit seeking termination of share purchase agreements worth NIS 100 million.
• Representation in a public company proxy fight, in the course of which three motions for interim reliefs filed by the opposing party and affecting the outcome of the proxy battle were denied.
• Representation in derivative claims of an infrastructure company pertaining to breach of fiduciary duty and breach of duty of care by the company officers.
• Representation in a monetary claim seeking NIS 25 million in a dispute between private company shareholders.
• Representation of the Tel Aviv Municipality in four petitions to the High Court of Justice pertaining to the opening and closure of grocery stores and kiosks on Saturdays.
• Representation of the Ramat Gan Municipality in an administrative petition challenging the Ramat Gan City Council’s decision to operate transport for the city residents on Saturdays as part of the project named “Sababus”.
• Representation of four tenants residing on Michal Street in Tel Aviv in the probate proceedings of the will of their late landlord, Uri Giladi, who bequeathed to them by his will apartments in the building, where they resided.
• Representation of Merlion Ltd. (a company owned by Hutchison Water Group) in two administrative petitions filed by two other bidders in the tender for the construction and operation of the world’s largest desalination plant, Sorek II.
• Representation of Castro Model Ltd. in a motion to certify a class action lawsuit pertaining to the Weight Restriction in the Modeling Industry Law.
• Representation of Madanes Insurance Agency Ltd. in a motion to certify an antitrust class action.
• Representation of Psagot Investment House in a motion to certify a class action and the class action lawsuit itself filed by the fund members.
• Representation of Walla Shops in a motion to certify a class action pertaining to the Environmental Treatment of Electrical and Electronic Equipment and Batteries Law.
