    Biography

    Livian Segal is a partner in the firm’s litigation group, representing both foreign and domestic clients across a broad spectrum of legal fields, with a special focus on commercial, corporate, and criminal matters. His expertise spans complex contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, corporate litigation, and class actions.

    With nearly 25 years of litigation experience, Livian combines a results-oriented approach with strategic foresight, regularly appearing before courts at all levels, as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings. His comprehensive practice also includes handling cases in tort, administrative law, securities, libel, labor, and environmental issues. As an expert in white-collar criminal law, Livian provides representation and strategic counsel to suspects and defendants, guiding them through investigations initiated by various authorities.

    With a strong interest on legal AI matters, Livian specializes in legal responsibility aspects of AI as well as AI ethics, and regulation. Livian serves as the co-chair of the “AI in the Legal World” Committee of the Israeli Bar, is a member of the Animal Law Committee, and co-heads the Social Responsibility Committee at Meitar.
    Additionally, he is a member of the Animal Experimentation Council at the Ministry of Health and was a member of the Management Committee at Tebbeka, an organization supporting the Ethiopian community in Israel.

    Livian is also a knowledgeable arbitrator and co-founder of Meitar’s Center for Speedy Arbitration.

    Together with Adv. Eyal Rosovsky, Livian teaches the course “The Secrets of Litigation” at the Hebrew University Faculty of Law in Jerusalem.

    At the beginning of his career, Livian served as a law clerk to Hon. Justice Ayala Procaccia at the Supreme Court of Israel.
