Our team

Tom Maor is an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Securities Department.

Tom represents Israeli and international public and private companies, entrepreneurs, shareholders, and investors in a broad range of corporate transactions, with a particular focus on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, on both the buy-side and the sell-side. Tom also represents clients in venture capital investments, equity financing rounds, secondary transactions, financing transactions, and corporate reorganizations.

Prior to joining Meitar, Tom worked at EY Israel, where he was involved in financial advisory, due diligence, and valuation work. He subsequently served as a Manager in the Assurance practice, leading audit engagements for technology companies and handling complex accounting and financial reporting matters, internal controls, and SOX compliance.

In addition to being an attorney, Tom is a certified public accountant in Israel. Alongside his legal practice, he teaches accounting and finance at Tel Aviv University and at Reichman University. Tom is a recipient of Rector’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching from both Tel Aviv University and Reichman University.
