Ran Amir is a Partner in Meitar Real Estate Department, focusing on complex real estate transactions and the management of large-scale projects. Ran represents developers, private and public real estate companies, funds and institutional investors, providing end-to-end legal support – from shaping the transaction strategy and conducting due diligence, through negotiating and drafting the transaction documents, to closing and completion – with a business-oriented, results-driven approach.

His core practice encompasses purchase agreements, combination transactions, partnerships and investments, and large-scale leasing transactions across a wide range of asset classes, including residential, commercial and office properties, logistics centers, and mixed-use projects, including projects incorporating hospitality components.

Ran advises on collaborations between developers and investors, including the establishment of joint ventures and the comprehensive structuring of partner relationships throughout the project (founders’ agreements, allocation of roles and authorities, investment and capital contribution mechanisms, profit distribution, exit arrangements and dispute resolution). He also advises his clients in acquisitions of other real estate corporations as well as on the acquisition of rights in urban renewal projects.

In addition, Ran advises purchase groups, designing the legal and commercial framework, implementing decision-making mechanisms, and regulating the relationships among group members and the commercial engagements throughout the project lifecycle to enable the efficient and optimal execution of the transaction.

As part of his transactional practice, Ran also advises on real estate finance transactions and represents clients vis-a-vis financing sources, including project finance, bank construction loans and complex financing structures.

His clients include Israel’s leading real estate developers.
