Tamir Shenhav is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Technology and Intellectual Group.

Tamir advises clients on privacy law and data protection matters. He advises domestic and international organizations on the implementation of privacy and information security regulatory requirements. His expertise includes gap analysis, developing policies and compliance procedures, managing cyber incidents, advising on employee training programs, and providing ongoing advice on evolving privacy matters, ensuring compliance with current regulatory standards.

Tamir also supports clients with cross-border data transfers, drafting agreements for data sharing and processing services, including cloud-based solutions. Additionally, he has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on privacy-related due diligence.

His clients include organizations, such as financial institutions, high-tech companies, telecom companies, nonprofit organizations, and other entities, both controllers and processors. Tamir also possesses in-depth knowledge in other regulatory fields, such as consumer protection, food safety, accessibility and more.

Tamir’s comprehensive expertise is built on his extensive experience prior to joining Meitar, representing and advising clients in complex commercial and civil litigation, with a particular focus on class action lawsuits. This background equips him with a unique perspective on implementing regulatory frameworks, drawing from his experience in litigation to help clients mitigate legal risks and reduce exposure.
