    Biography

    Erez Winberger is a Partner in the firm’s Israeli Corporate and Securities Department.

    Erez’s practices corporate and commercial law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and securities. Erez has experience in representing leading companies and investors from various commercial sectors, including real estate, finance, services, transportation and retail. He represents clients in mergers and acquisitions of corporations and assets, investments, joint ventures, commercial engagements, real estate collaborations and in a variety of other types of transactions.

    Erez also advises corporations on various legal issues in connection with their ongoing operations, including with respect to commercial matters and corporate procedures.

    Representative Experience

    • Representation of Clal Insurance Company in the acquisition of 13% of the shares of the Nisko Electric Group at a company valuation of NIS 1.6 billion.
    • Representation of The Phoenix Group in the transaction for the sale of the controlling interest in the Ad 120 sheltered housing chain to Shapir at a company valuation of NIS 1.35 billion.
    • Representation of Acro Real Estate Group in a collaboration with Clal Insurance Company, within the framework of an investment in the residential rental sector, in a total amount of approximately NIS 500 million.
    • Representation of Acro Real Estate Group in a collaboration with The Phoenix Group, under which Phoenix will invest up to NIS 410 million in various projects of the Acro Group.
    • Representation of Leumi Partners in an investment in Issta’s real estate company (Issta Properties) at a company valuation of NIS 1.2 billion.
    • Representation of Leumi Partners and The Phoenix Group in the acquisition of 20% (each) of the Taavura Group from K.T.S. Industries for a total consideration of approximately NIS 501 million.
    • Representation of Leumi Partners and The Phoenix Group in the acquisition of approximately 35% (in equal shares) of Simplivia Healthcare from FIMI Opportunity Funds for USD 47 million.
    • Representation of Bon Tour Ltd. in various transactions for the acquisition of activities and holdings in the private transportation sector.
