Meitar successfully defends Karish & Tanin offshore gas leases in High Court of Justice

Israel’s High Court of Justice rejected a petition filed by environmental organizations objecting to the development of the Karish & Tanin offshore natural gas leases by Meitar’s client Energean. Judge Itzhak Amit of the Supreme Court noted that “it is only appropriate that such an important issue will  be determined by legislation of the Knesset.”
