Representing Electra Industries Ltd. and Bosch in submitting merger notices to the competition authority

Our firm represented the giant electronic company, Bosch and its subsidiary Bosch Thermotechnik in the purchase of 40% of Electra Industries.
The companies recently received approval from the Israeli Competition Authority for the investment of Bosch in Electra, which will allow for the establishment of a new plant in Ashkelon designated, inter alia, for the production of heat pumps for export to Europe. For more info click here.

Will the United Arab Emirates invest in Israeli high-tech? A joint company is already being set up

In an interview with The Marker, Yuval Sasson, a partner in our firm, explains that a joint platform between the countries is already being set up: “In recent days, I have been involved in the establishment of an Israeli company that will be an economic-commercial platform for new growth engines for the area.”

Meitar partner Itay Frishman also explains that there is a large amount of investment capital in the UAE, as well as great interest in technology: “We know that they are already investing in Silicon Valley, and investing in Israel will give them quick access to technology.”
