Jonathan Irom is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate and Securities Group.

Jonthan has specific expertise in Fintech, with a particular focus on blockchain and cryptocurrencies. As the head of the firm’s practice in these areas, he works with most of the leading companies and initiatives in that space with an Israeli connection, as well as multinationals operating in Israel. He has represented all Israeli-originated Layer 1 (L1) projects.

Having studied both law and computer science and having been an integral part of the blockchain community for over a decade, Jonathan leverages his deep legal, technological and industry knowledge in order to carefully guide clients through an uncertain and evolving legal environment, while assisting them in achieving their commercial goals. He has played a key role in developing innovative legal and commercial structures for Web3 projects.

Jonathan is recognized by Chambers Global as a Band 1 lawyer for Fintech and is recognized by IFLR1000 as a leading lawyer in Israel for private equity and M&A in the Technology and Telecommunications sector.

Jonathan also has extensive experience in representing technology companies across various industries and all stages, as well as advising both sellers and buyers in M&A transactions. He also advises venture capital funds and private investors on investment matters.

Jonathan works with many startup companies, representing them during their entire life-cycle from inception, advising on financing rounds, licensing and other commercial agreements, joint ventures and day-to-day matters, and through to IPOs and exits.
