Adv. Ariel Nissim is a Partner at Meitar.

Previously, Adv. Nissim served in key positions in the Israel Corporations Authority of the Ministry of Justice, where he played an integral role in drafting supervisory procedures for the Registrar of Non-Profit Associations and the Registrar of Political Parties, drafting working procedures and Best Practice Principles and implementing significant regulatory reforms in this area. In addition, he was instrumental in creating the Enforcement and Control Department of the Enforcement and Monitoring Division of the Corporations Authority, as well as overseeing a major amendment of Israel’s Companies Law and a significant reorganization of the Registrar of Companies. His efforts led to the Corporations Authority receiving awards for innovation and excellence from Israel’s Civil Service Commission.

Adv. Nissim specializes in non-profit associations, Public Benefit Corporations and endowments, and he has served for many years both as an arbitrator and as an advocate in arbitration proceedings, in addition to being active in civil and commercial litigation in all judicial and quasi-judicial forums. Since 2020, Adv. Nissim has served as the Israel Bar Association National Council arbitrator.

Adv. Nissim is the Chairman of the Committee on Associations, Non-Profits Organization and Endowments of the Israel Bar Association.
