Dr. Keren Hagai is a patent attorney and partner at Meitar Patents Ltd.

Keren specializes in the fields of biotech, agritech, genetics, and foodtech.

Keren has over fifteen years of hands-on experience as a patent attorney and specializes in strategic management of intellectual property portfolios, patent drafting and prosecution, plant breeder’s rights (PBR), infringement analysis, patentability analysis, validity and freedom to operate opinions, as well as patent oppositions, portfolio evaluations, clearance opinions, client pre-investment due diligence and litigation support.

Prior to joining Meitar, Keren was a co-founder and a co-manager of Patent, Design, and PBR practice at a law firm. In the past, Keren served as a Head of the Life Sciences Department at a leading IP firm, in the fields of biotech & life sciences.
