Throughout his career, Yaron Elhanani has handled civil litigation before courts of all instances in Israel covering diverse matters of banking, business disputes, control struggles, large scale monetary claims and real estate. Since the introduction of class action proceedings in Israel, Yaron has gained extensive experience in defending large business concerns in high value class actions in the areas of banking, antitrust, insurance regulation, consumer protection and other fields.

Yaron has rich and varied experience in representing banks, large corporations, government bodies and institutions as well as private individuals in a broad range of legal proceedings. Among the clients represented by Yaron are Bank Leumi, Bank Mizrahi, the First International Bank of Israel, Leumi Mortgage Bank, the Israel Land Authority, the Jewish National Fund, Philip Morris International Inc., Heineken, LR Group and others.

Yaron has also served as an arbitrator and mediator in a broad spectrum of disputes both under appointment of the courts and at the direct request of disputing parties.

Alongside his practice in litigation, Yaron has developed an expertise in real estate and zoning and construction law. Yaron handled large scale real estate transactions representing clients such as major real estate developers, public and government bodies, purchase groups and private individuals. For many years, Yaron wrote the legal column in the real estate section of Israel’s highly regarded “Ha’aretz” newspaper.

In 1986 he established Kantor Elhanani Tal & Co. together with Israel Kantor and Dalia Tal.

Yaron served his military reserve duty for a long period as a legal advisor in various areas in the legal department of the Ministry of Defense.

Yaron has been repeatedly ranked as a highly recommended individual in the areas of Real Estate and Dispute Resolution in prominent international legal guides such as the Legal 500, European Legal Experts, Which Lawyer, IFLR and Who’s Who Legal.

Prior to the merger that created Meitar Liquornik Geva Leshem Tal, Yaron was a founding partner of Kantor, Elhanani Tal & Co.
