Our team

Amit Barnea is an associate in the firm’s Banking and Finance Group.

Amit advises corporations, including financial corporations, on regulatory and corporate governance matters, as well as on various commercial matters. Prior to joining Meitar Amit served for six years in the Military Advocate General’s Corps (the MAG Corps) of the Israel Defense Forces (the IDF). During that period, Amit served as a legal advisor in the Legal Advice to the Region of Judea and Samaria Department and as a prosecutor in the Military Prosecution. In the course of his career in the MAG Corps, Amit gained extensive experience in the fields of international, administrative, criminal and public law.
