The Commercial Lending practice group represents commercial banks and other institutional lenders in a wide range of financing transactions, such as acquisition loans, construction loans, equipment financing, aircraft finance, leasehold financing, letters of credit, private bank facilities and multi-lender participation/syndicated financing. Our firm has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial lending transactions from negotiating terms to drafting loan and security documentation. This area encompasses perfecting security interests as well as navigating related bankruptcy and tax issues. 

Representative experience

• Representation of Gazit-Globe in a multinational credit facility agreement (involving five different jurisdictions) with a syndicate of Israeli banks, to finance its investment in the Vienna-listed Atrium European Real Estate Limited (formerly Meinl European Land), in the amount of € 400 million.
• Representation of an international consortium in the Israeli portion of the $20 billion financing of the acquisition of the Hilton Hotel chain by Blackstone.
• Advising an international consortium of banks in the financing of a major acquisition of shares in one of the largest companies traded in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
