Biography
Joel D. Wine is a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Taxation Group.
Joel is a U.S. tax lawyer and has extensive experience in all areas of U.S. domestic and international taxation. He advises multinational corporations on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, supply chain operations, and executive compensation matters. He advises many Israeli funds on U.S. and international partnership tax matters and tax efficient structuring of their U.S. investments.
Joel also regularly advises high-net worth individuals, dual citizens and families on all complex cross-border tax aspects of structuring their global real estate investments, including matters relating to trusts, life-time gifts, and testamentary bequests.
Prior to joining Meitar, he practiced U.S. tax law for 8 years as an attorney in New York and Boston, followed by 4 years as a member of Ernst & Young’s U.S. Tax Desk in Israel.
